I always wanted to learn smocking because they look so beautiful, especially on children. Since this is my first project I choose a relatively easy pattern found on
Australian Smocking & Embroidery Magazine. At first I had some problems with some of the constructions. I'm going through a lot of learning process, on how to sew puffed/gathered set in sleeves, a collar, button, and buttonholes. I feel proud looking at my daughters dresses in something that I made for them myself. My daughters are so excited about their new dress. This motivated me to make another for them.
